He loves nothing more than to be by your side, whether it’s curling up in your lap for some scratches or laying right on top of you on the carpet. If you’re sitting down, you can bet Archie will come to place his head lovingly on your lap; he’s all about the cuddles. His bond with his foster family’s 12-year-old daughter is especially sweet; Archie follows her everywhere and even curls up under her desk while she works. 

He loves to snuggle up with her at bedtime. With a need for ample exercise, Archie would do best with a fenced yard where he can run safely off-leash. He adores playing ball and engaging in tug-of-war games. Due to his excitement for walks, it’s recommended that he wears a harness, which helps control his enthusiasm when meeting new friends, both human and canine. Training is also a great idea to help him with pulling and jumping. Archie has proven to get along well with other dogs and would flourish in a home with a furry sibling. As for cats? That is unknown. Archie is fully house-trained and knows commands like sit, come, stay, heel, and leave it. With additional training for jumping and pulling, he will be a well-mannered companion.
