Nonprofit Sponsorship Opportunities with GRREAT
GRREAT (Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training, Inc.) offers business and corporate sponsorship opportunities across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the Washington, DC region. We are a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer Golden Retriever rescue based in Merrifield, Virginia, and we place about 100 rescued Goldens into loving new homes every year. Sponsorships fund veterinary care, foster supplies, and community events, and every sponsor is recognized on this page and at the events they support.
Why Sponsor a Golden Retriever Rescue?
Local sponsorship is one of the most effective ways for a business to support its community and be seen doing it. When your company sponsors GRREAT, you are helping unwanted, stray, and abandoned Golden Retrievers get the medical care and foster homes they need, and you are putting your brand in front of an audience that goes out of its way to support the businesses that support the rescue.

Ways Your Business Can Sponsor GRREAT
Event Sponsorship
Put your company’s name behind one of our community events, such as the annual GRREAT 3K Walk, our biggest fundraiser of the year. Event sponsors are recognized at the event they support.
In-Kind Donations and Services
Donate merchandise for our events and auctions, pet supplies for our foster homes, or professional services that help the rescue run. Visit our Donation Center to learn what we can use.
Host a GRREAT Event
Pet stores, groomers, breweries, and other local businesses can host adoption days or fundraisers that benefit the rescue. Hosting brings dog-loving customers through your doors while helping Goldens find homes.
Sponsor a Rescued Golden
Businesses and individuals can sponsor the care of a specific dog through our Sponsor a Dog program, or help a Golden with extra medical needs through Special Needs Dog Sponsorship.
