DYLAN (25-021)
DYLAN (25-021) is a charming 9-year-old senior with a heart full of love. Recently neutered and weighing in at 72 pounds, Dylan is the ultimate cuddle companion. Whether it’s climbing into your lap or snuggling nose-to-nose in bed, he thrives on close contact and affection. His favorite activities include playing ball, tug of war, and going on walks where he eagerly explores the world around him. Although he may pull on the leash in his excitement, he responds well to firm guidance and knows basic commands. Dylan does have itchy skin and currently takes Apoquel as well as an ear medication twice a week to prevent infections.
We are exploring some additions to his food like fish oil and pumpkin to see if that helps. Dylan is a pro at car rides, effortlessly hopping in and out, and he enjoys being groomed, patiently sitting while you brush him. Despite his senior status, Dylan is full of spunk and would thrive in a family that can provide him with plenty of walks and playtime. A fenced yard where he can explore off-leash is recommended. He is pretty good with other dogs and children that he has met, but he has occasionally had disagreements with some of the other dogs he has lived with so we feel he would do best as an only dog.
