DAISEY and GINGER – Double the fun, snuggles and love! Daisey (not quite 7 yrs old) and Ginger (8 ½ yrs old) are two incredibly sweet, cuddly, and smart spayed females that are also very much bonded. They are a forever pair whose owner passed away in December.

Daisey and Ginger were in boarding for several weeks. After bringing them home and giving both a very long and much-needed full-spa evening, they looked, felt and smelled much better. They have slowly been coming out of their shells and realizing that they are welcome and in a good place. While they don’t really know many commands, they are smart, housebroken and are not at all destructive. They are happy to lounge around and snuggle, but they are also up for long walks with their people. They are in great shape and don’t seem to have any medical issues. They don’t really know how to “play” with other dogs but they do not mind living with ours. Ginger is the “older sister” and she is gentle and easy-going. She can be a bit tentative with “new things” but will quickly follow her “younger sister”Daisey’s lead.

Daisey is the social butterfly of the two and while she’s younger and smaller, she’s a bit more confident. Both are goofy and playful with each other. Ideally, their Forever home will be with a family who is home more often than not. We think they would be good with children because we encounter kids on our walks and they seem to LOVE them and are relatively gentle with them. We have no idea what they would be like with cats. Also, while they’ve been good with our 2 dogs, they really deserve to be the only dogs in the house. An adoption fee will be required.
