MAZZI (26-012)
MAZZI (26-012) is a sweet, affectionate 7 year old boy with a beautiful soft red coat. He enjoys walks and playing fetch in the back yard with balls and frisbees. He loves cuddles, petting, and being right next to his human companion at all times. He will pull on walks when he sees another dog to play with or for interesting smells but does better with a harness. He rides well in cars. He is fully house trained and knows basic commands by both voice or hand signal. He is still working on STAY because he wants to be by our side at all times.
He does not get on furniture but sleeps in our bedroom right next to the bed. He does well with his foster Golden brother and would do well with another playmate or by himself. He would do well with children in the house but with his size, might knock down smaller children. He loves every type of toy and constantly has one with him. He is a bit overweight so he is on a weight management dog food and we take several walks a day for exercise. He is wonderful when being combed and allows us to trim his hair and nails. We are home most of the day but he would be ok being left during a work day. A fenced yard is recommended so he can have safe, off leash playtime.
