**COURTESY POST – PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW TO INQUIRE ABOUT BRODY**

Brody is a 2–3-year-old neutered Golden Retriever with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Originally rescued from the streets of Texas, he found his way into a family who cared for him but ultimately decided to rehome him after some nippy behavior with children. Since March, he has been thriving in foster care, where his playful, energetic, and affectionate nature has really shone through. Brody loves nothing more than running around the yard, hopping on the treadmill, and spending time with people. He is extremely social, very loyal, and would do best with an active family who can give him both the attention and the exercise he craves. A fenced-in yard would be ideal to help him burn off his endless energy, and because of his history, he would do best in a home with children at least 14 years old.

Brody also loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys having a playmate, particularly another younger, energetic dog who can keep up with his activity level. While he sometimes needs a gentle reminder to share his toys, he thrives in social settings and lights up when he’s around people or other pets. Brody also really thrives with structure and rules- he’s a smart boy who knows sit, down, stay, and come, and he has good leash manners to make walks enjoyable. Underneath his high energy is a very sweet, loving dog who just wants to belong. Brody has been misunderstood in the past, but he is ready for a fresh start with a home that understands his needs and will embrace him for the loyal, playful, and affectionate companion he truly is.
