DEXTER (24-058)
DEXTER (24-058) is a healthy 6 month old boy, weighing in at 60 pounds. He’s still growing but he’s already a big boy and is projected to be about 100 pounds. Dex is a bundle of loving energy who LOVES to play! He would thrive in a busy home with an active canine playmate as he is in constant motion and a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. We don’t know how he would do with cats. Because he is a large and very active puppy, it’s probably better if any kids in the house are older. Since he is a pup, a home where someone is around most of the time would be great.
If you work from home, Dexter would love to sleep on your feet. He is crate trained and goes happily in his “room” for naps and overnight. Since he is housebroken, he might soon sleep next to, or on, your bed if allowed. Dex has great recall and can sit in a second. He loves walking on the leash and being as close as possible. He is very food motivated and learns quickly. Dexter eats as enthusiastically as he plays so we use a puzzle bowl at meal times to slow him down a tad. After a busy day of playing and releasing all that young energy, this bundle of fluff loves to snore on the floor, the couch, a cozy chair or draped across your body.
